HAIR, Black, cut short and tidy. One of his greatest annoyances is when his hair refuses to stay flat. Normally, it does. Normally.

NOTICEABLE TRAITS, Wears a small dog tag and an ankh around his neck. Tattoo of his heirograph symbol on his back, between his shoulder blades.

● ● PSYCHE INFORMATION

POSITIVE TRAITS,

• LOYAL. Anu has strong beliefs. He believes in following the law, in keeping promises and if he is friends with someone, he will not betray them. He will believe in their words and trust that their actions are just. And if they are not just, he will tell them so. It does leave him open to abusive relationships, as he is fairly slow to pick up on people lying or messing with him.
  
• POLITE. Anu is very PG. He is well mannered, treats everyone with equal respect regardless of how they treat him and he acts with consideration towards others. Some might call him a prude, because he doesn't like swearing or talking about sex. In fact, he's so polite that often he doesn't even notice innuendo. He just assumes it's innocent talk and doesn't get why everyone is laughing at him.
  
• RIGHTEOUS. Anu likes Justice. He likes Fairness. He likes Equality. And he often ends up defending the weak in an attempt to carry out the call of justice. Having spent numerous years watching souls getting eaten for the crimes they committed, he tends to try and intervene whenever he sees something particularly bad happening. Both to save the soul of the perpetrator and to save the victim. He has a very strong sense of right and wrong.
  
• SYMPATHETIC/COMPASSIONATE. Anu isn't high on empathy. He just isn't very good at sharing another person's pain. If your grandmother has just died, he isn't able to feel that pain. He will, however, give you a hug, buy you chocolate and not leave your side until you've stopped crying.
  

NEGATIVE TRAITS,

• DULL. Anu is a little boring. Plain and simple. You can have fun by winding him up about rules, but that's about it.
  
• LAW ABIDING (OR INFLEXIBLE). In most people, this would be a good trait to have. However, in Anu's case, he follows even the most insignificant rules to the letter. And worse, he will correct anyone else who is not obeying them. You've graffitied the school toilets? Your shirt's not tucked in? You're not sticking to the right hand side of the stairs? WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. Anu is pretty persistent in making sure you obey the rules.
  
• OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE. Following on from the previous trait, Anu is very particular about where things go. Books have to be stacked in alphabetical order, size and subject. Papers are filed away using a complicated system of numbers, letters and strange squiggly things that no one can figure out. He washes his hands at least once every hour (though it's now closer to once every half hour) and showers three times a day, once after each meal. He always starts with his left elbow and washes his hair last.
  
• ANGER. Anu has a fairly slow temper. He's patient with most people, aware that his standards are tough and normally allows people the benefit of the doubt. HOWEVER! Push him too far, make one discrepence too many or lie to him and he will snap. And when he snaps, he tends to lose sight of where he is and what he is doing, focusing all his power on the cause of his anger in a blind rage.
  
• SLOW/GULLIBLE. Anu is always the slowest when it comes to jokes. Especially dirty ones. It's not that he's stupid or unintelligent, he just tends to take things literally. He is the type to wait for hours in the rain for a date, before working out that she stood him up. He just doesn't catch on quickly. Maybe it'd be better to say that he tends to believe in people, so he easily falls for a trick without even realising.
  
• DISTANT. Anu is not very good at getting close to others. Whether it's because he's spending excessive time on Ace Attorney or whether he just can't hold a conversation beyond 'your shoe lace is undone', he seems to have great difficulty in connecting to other people. His inflexible adherence to the rules also affects his relationship with others, as he is often considered a killjoy. What can he say? His old job didn't allow him to get out much, what with weighing the heart of every person who died.

WEAKNESSES,

• ROMANCE. Ah, love. Yes, this would certainly be his greatest weakness. Anu is... not good with his emotions. He takes a while to recognise them and when he does, has no idea what to do with them. When it comes to liking a girl (or a guy), Anu tends to be stumped. He normally goes about awkwardly trying to have a conversation before resorting to flowers and gifts of egyptian spices. Usually, the real problems come when he is actually dating someone. He insists on following 'rules' he has in his head about dating, and can be very insistant on them being followed. The lack of spontaneity often drives dates away.
  
• AMMUT. Having seen her devour many souls over his existence as a god, Anu is more than a little bit afraid of the chimera. Anu tends to avoid her as much as possible, though not to the point that he breaks his personal rules. Just the sight of her makes him break out in a sweat.
  
• ACE ATTORNEY. Anu likes ace attorney a little too much and if anything will make him fail school, it's this. While he has set time aside for studying and classes, he spends the rest of his time playing Ace Attorney. Over and over again. He knows the plot off by heart and never gets bored. It is no secret that he owns a Phoenix Wright costume and occasionally he drags it out to wear around school.

● ● PERSONAL GOODS

ITEMS,

• NINTENDO DS. Anu has a great love for one game and one game only. Ace Attorney. A game about law and order, his favourite subjects.
  
• BOOK OF THE DEAD. It speaks of all the rituals and spells that allow a person to go to the underworld unhindered. Anu doesn't look at it much anymore, as the school rules are the ones he has to obey in this setting.

WEAPONS,

• FLAIL. Ah yes, the good, old fashioned peasant weapon. Anubis' flail consists of two sticks. One is long, acting like a pole, and the other is short and covered in sharp spikes. They are connected by a small chain, allowing Anubis to swing the smaller pole around to hit people.
