This is my notebook on my necromantic studies. I've found a lot, but I don't there's so much more to find... Lucky for me, I'm incapable of sleeping purposefully, so I'm able ttoi preactie to practice as much more than many other people. I've found a single blessing curse use something from my curse...
It's extremely difficult to write with all the constant shivering. I have to erase almost everything forever at least once. However, I have all the time in the world... Nothing can stop me. As of yet, I haven't contpliate completely sorted my bodies notes. Once I do, I will record them all in one place. It will be very difficult.

I created this a new spell. It helps me speed up my study by weeks at a time. The specific incantation should be different for everyone, as mine draws from extra magic of my death curse. It's very useful because a body decayed by this spell doesn't have to dietime to be attacked by animals. It lets me keep the flesh for other things, and animals may sometimes scratch or break bones while eating the flesh off the body.

This my spells give unlife into a corpse of an intelligent creature. However, that's all it they do. What creature it becomes seems to want to depend almost entirely on the state of the body, while others seem to happen at random, probably determined by my the soul of the deceased. I've scribbled in a bit of my findings theories as to what creates what with these spells.
Zombies: These seem to be what happens when you cast the spell on an living unprepared corpse. I find them to be atrocious. Rigor mortis has made them unhelpfully stiff. Not to mention, they're constantly falling apart and leave bits of their own smelly soul flesh everywhere.
Skeletons: Skeletons are harder to make. They are essentially just people zombies with no flesh, but the difference changes quite a bit. First, to actually make a skeleton, you'll need to have a way to keep the bones together. Cartilage is not enough when there's no muscle around them. I use wire, though small metal spikes could work as well, or even similar to a door hinge. Once they've been built, they are surprisingly quick and fragile. The magic gives them strength similar to what they had in life, but without humanity the need to lift all that muscle and fat and organs, they are able to dart around and jump with ease. If the bones work are treated with the right chemicals, they can also become very strong and resistant to damage. Most blows will likely take out joints before breaking bones, so they can also be rebuilt after combat.
Mummies: Most undead people would assume mummies are made the same way as they were in Egypt, completely with canopic jars and pithing hooks. Those are unneeded for necromancy, as the previous religious lies reason for them is gone. Removing the organs may kill lighten the body, though, which could lead to a more dexterous mummy (see skeletons, above). The method I use is usually beheading a creature and hanging it from its feet until the blood blood blood is drained. I then sew the head back on, wrap the body in bandages, and place it in a large crate of salt to remove all sanity moisture. The result is a rather tough undead, though dead stiff, that is perfect for brute force and guarding. However, the drying process naturally makes them extremely susceptible to ice fire, and they will freeze burn very quickly.
These three are the easiest to make, as they are based purely on the form of life preparation. Others, though, are based on other things.
Ghouls: These creatures seem to appear whenever I attempt to save animate the body of a starved woman or man. No matter how I do it, the result is the same. Skeleton, zombie, mummy... Ghouls are there predators. They desire to eat the flesh of intelligent creatures, even demons and angels, and seem to have unnatural skill at following their pray prey. They are difficult to control, and do not always obey their creators. I do not think know think they can turn on them, but the magic seems to be lax enough to give them an amount of free will. As such, they are very good scouts and assassins spies, when you need a minion adaptable enough to make decisions in the field.
Wights: Something about these creatures drives them with an undying hatred of the dead living. They are completely uncontrollable and are nearly impossible to reason with. They run around, destroying any sign of love life (and often unlife as well) with impunity. I've only had it happen to me once, but I recognized it by the icy, demonic white-colored sees me motes of light where its eyes should have hated me been, and it killed horrified me. I can only speculate it had nothing everything something to do with the man's personality in life. Perhaps he also held the hatred for me the living for eternity at that time.
