"H-h-here's hoping I f-find something good..."
Nerreth spoke to himself between shivers, adjusting his porcelain mask with his only arm, then letting his hand fall back to his right side. Necromancy was so incredibly interesting... But having to wait weeks for corpses to be prepared was a shame. He had, as of three days ago, 'used up' all of his materials, and came to what was quite possibly the best place to gather more.
"M-more athletes sh-should hang themselves... S-s-such strong bodies." He mused, pacing through the trees, looking for a person who'd been healthy in life. Wiping his hand on his robes first, he stopped, looks up, and saw what appeared to be the body of a young woman. "Rare... I wonder what h-happened..."

it wasn't as if lucifer was above being in these dark, damp woods. in fact he made it routine to check the areas surrounding his kingdom for the benefit of its citizens. infiltration was something he would not tolerate - as if the angels were courageous enough to even come down this far.
in the middle of the forest was a small clearing that the fallen had taken the liberty to clear. it was a small concrete area, two benches resting on the concrete slab as the trees around them groaned in agony. lucifer laid upon one of these benches, leisurely wasting his time as he listened to music. his eyes stared at the darkening reddish sky, before his eyes flickered to the left of himself.
he spotted what appeared to be a demon .. or perhaps a vampire? it was hard to tell by the get up, but the archdemon said nothing as he laid there with his hands upon his stomach, right leg propped up. eventually, the poor lad or lass would feel eyes staring upon him and have to react, you know.

"T-t-time to remove you..." Nerreth said softly, then suddenly tugged as hard as he could, breaking the vines and pulling the body to the ground. There was several soft snaps and he let out a shallow sigh. "No wonder... Its d-delicate form m-must have been because of a b-bone disease... Perhaps I c-can make it into s-something else of use... Or even better..."
Nerreth mused to himself as he pulled the woman's corpse by the leg, letting it drag behind her. It took him several minutes to realize there was another demon watching him. Now only several feet away from him, Nerreth turned, the expressionless skull-half of his face staring at Lucifer.
"If p-p-people are so c-c-close to dieing... They shouldn't b-be bothered to k-kill themselves." He said. He was thinking out loud, but also staring at Luficer still. The area was where Nerreth performed autopsies and smaller rituals on corpses regularly. However, the presence of a person made it a different place for him. Nerreth was suddenly lost in familiar territory.

lucifer was entertained, his eyes shifting to slight slits as a red hue faintly overtook his once emerald iris. slowly he would push himself to a sitting position, lips curling in a smile of interest. "talkiing to yourself isn't healthy," he stated matter of factly, dusting off his knees as he stood up straight. his clothes were clean, he was clean.
he was charming - or perhaps that was only his ego speaking? head full of orangish-red hair, he merely took a glance to the others attire before directing his attention back to what seemed to be the head of the black cloaked thing. "why are you removing bodies from the trees? disturbing the dead is quite the sin."
slowly he walked forward, stopping approximately seven feet distance away from his target of interest currently. and how interesting he was, indeed.

"W-who are you? I w-was looking for m-my ritual space... Th-this b-body is weak..." Nerreth said, ignoring the question and looking at the corpse. "I w-want to m-mumm-mify it. It m-makes it stronger. N-no I d-don't. I don't." He shook his head.
Still very aware of another's presence, he tossed the body into the middle of the stone clearing. He reached into his robe and pulled out a folded paper, his arm shaking greatly. He unfolded the paper with one hand and threw it at the body, the paper having been holding a small collection of white flower petals.
"I n-need m-more... D-do you have any c-components...?" Nerreth asked, turning around to face Lucifer. Silently he withdrew a small glass vial full of black liquid from his robes and twirled it around in his fingers while staring at Lucifer.

despite being ignored in some areas, the demon of pride didn't take it personally as he could have. the other wanted to create a 'mummy', and simply put... well, lucifer didn't exactly have the interest in watching this. however for the sake of a good impression he plastered a fake smile upon his face, sitting himself down upon the bench and staring at the other work.
right leg crossed over his left, eyes narrowing slightly as he watched the ritual 'begin', and when he was confronted with a question, the archdemon merely shook his head in a slow fashion. "sorry, necromancy isn't my style of magic." why bring the dead to fight for you when you can just command a whole army to do it? the fallen king of babylon chuckled to himself, observing what was going to be done now.

Nerreth bit the cork off of the vial of liquid, bent down, and opened the woman's mouth with the back of the vial. He poured the liquid into her throat, then closed her mouth and stood up.
"The ch-chill of death does not exist. The ch-chill of life is what persists..." Nerreth chanted, and the body suddenly straightened itself and became rigid. "N-now I w-wait. Necromancy takes s-so very l-long to do..." He walked over to the bench Luficer sat at, sat down, and stared at the corpse. It was already beginning to desiccate, as if drying out in fast-forward. At this rate, it wouldn't be long before it could be easily taken apart, and the bones could be worked on separate of the flesh.

it was apparent that the other was becoming a bit too familiar with lucifer. the archdemon watched the other sit next to him, and a twinge of irritation was apparent. it seemed that someone wanted to end up a corpse on one of these trees, which was totally fine by the prince of pride.
"what do you think you're doing?" he questioned, eyes slithering to their edges as he ignored all else about this scenario - leaving a burning gaze of incoming violence towards the stuttering necromancer. he didn't smell like a vampire, so the archdemon assumed he was a demon. i mean, there was only so many races within the abyssal kingdom, you know. "do you think yourself my equal?"

"H-who are you?" Nerreth spoke, turning his head slowly towards the archdemon beside him. "Oh." He said again, then turned towards the corpse. He stood up then, and walked back to the corpse, not knowing the folly of ignoring the demon of pride. Bending over, he began to peel the flesh off of the now dried corpse. "Th-the skin is useful f-for ointments... I'm g-going to work on her b-bones."
Now having come the closest to answering Lucifer's question, Nerreth became slightly more lucid. There was another person here, he'd realized. So he asked again.
"Who are y-you? I am N-Nerreth Alb-ban, Mage of Ab-baddon. Undeath f-fascinates me..."

a simple minded demon. lucifer would merely frown at the display of pure adhd, one minute the demon sat down, and the next moment the demon stood and waltzed away to the corpse. luckily, the archdemon of pride didn't find that all too offensive - he excused the other, assuming that the boy merely suffered some sort of mental deficiency.
as he gave his name, the elbow of lucifer had propped into his right thigh, eyes becoming dulled due to lack of amusement, and his lips merely parted once to mutter his name. "lucifer," he clearly stated, right leg crossed over his left knee as he smiled faintly, "prince lucifer. pleasant meeting, nerreth the mage. the undeath doesn't fascinate me."
